Position Overview
Rider University seeks an entry-level individual for a temporary Building Maintenance position to perform a variety of routine maintenance services requiring the repair/replacement, installation and repair of building components. The work schedule for this temporary position is Tuesday – Saturday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated basic plumbing and electrical experience.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform required job responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision, work from ladders, and operate power tools.
- A valid driver's license in good standing is required.
- Must have own hand tools.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 3 years of general maintenance experience is preferred
