Hiring Range: $17.55/hour - $22.74/hour
This position serves as the first point of contact for the Human Resources Department and is responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers and administrative support for the Human Resources team. Responsible for managing HR systems and providing technical support in a variety of department operations.
This position may include virtual work but is primarily based in our office on the Prescott campus.
- Provides customer service at the front desk, by phone and by email for the department.
- Assists the HR Team by managing department I-9 processes and supporting new employee onboarding and orientation.
- Responsible for compliance with E-Verify and I-9 processes including AZ New Hire reporting.
- Performs data entry into the HRIS system for employee changes and separations in an accurate and timely manner, at all times maintaining data integrity.
- Generates routine reports, performs data entry and clean up, and other technical functions with HR systems and processes, with a focus on improving operational effectiveness.
- Manages record storage and filing of personnel documents in compliance with college policies and retention and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversees employment verifications in coordination with the Payroll office.
- Assists with recruitment activities, training logistics and scheduling.
- Serves as the purchasing agent for the department and assists with reconciling of accounts, schedules rooms, and processes mail.
- Provides administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
- Other duties as assigned.
